National energy expert and Rocky Mountain Institute co-founder Amory Lovins will speak at Keppel Auditorium at Catawba College in Salisbury on February 23, 2010 beginning at 7 pm.  The presentation, which is hosted by the College's Center for the Environment, is free and open to the public, but registration is required.  Since the Center must raise all funds for operations and depends on gifts to provide programs like this, it would welcome a donation of $10 or more from those whoh attend the program.  These funds will go toward providing scholarships for high school students who need financial assistance to attend the Center’s National Youth Environmental Summit in July.  The Summit is a partnership between the Center and Lovins’ organization, Rocky Mountain Institute.  Click here to learn more about this event and to register.
