Who We Are
NCSEA is a 501c3 non-profit membership organization of individuals and businesses interested in the many aspects of sustainable energy. NCSEA's main office is located in Raleigh and NCSEA is active throughout the State.
NCSEA works to ensure a sustainable future by promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency in North Carolina through education, public policy and economic development.
As North Carolinian's, we have created a wonderful state where we live and work. Together, we can enable North Carolina business, government and our fellow citizens to turn our global energy and climate change challenges into opportunities for a more sustainable future we can all be proud of.
NCSEA knows that it takes much more than one program, policy or group to achieve a sustainable energy future and economy for North Carolina, which is why we work and partner with NCSEA members, state and local government, business, community-networked organizations, and dynamic citizen leaders. We believe the key to success is through educating the public about sustainable energy, advocating for policy that will help lead to a sustainable energy future, and removing the barriers to market development so the sustainable energy sector can grow.
NCSEA’s team includes energy policy, education and outreach, and market development staff and expert volunteers, combined with NCSEA's growing membership, volunteer base and the generosity of our donors and grant funders. Our team has established NCSEA as the leading non-profit organization working with you to create a sustainable energy future for North Carolina.
Get involved by joining NCSEA today and get involved in making our energy generation and use more sustainable.
NCSEA is a chapter of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES). Click here (http://ases.org/) to learn more about ASES.
